Planning on hitting this up in Wallingford Saturday morning with a buddy. I read on here about a fish kill this winter that turned out to be only sunnies...

Has anyone been back this year and checked it out? From Google Maps it looks incredibly weedy/lily pads everywhere.

How is shore fishing there?

You could probably wade the whole pond with some good chest waders. I tried to ice fish there last Winter and we couldn't find any water under the ice that was deeper than a couple of feet. I've been told that the western shore is good for black crappie and largemouth bass.
