my best advice to you if you want to catch pike in the ct river would be to invest in a little boat! but i have seen a few caught in wethersfield cove and keeney cove from land, or that other cove! |

At haddem Meadow, try the left of the ramp as you're looking out into the river.
OR
If you don't mind walking a bit, right of the ramp about 300yrds. Very grassy.
Good luck, bring the bug spray. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

The area to the left of the ramp (i.e., upriver) is very broad and shallow. The channel is on the other side of the river. There are definitely spots on the shore from which you could fish. I'd throw buzzbaits or spinnerbaits out there. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
