If you want to learn how to flip get on a boat with Flippy. You'll either learn or you'll be miserable while he's pulling in pigs from the weeds. I had a great time learning to flip. Although I only caught a decent size pike when I tried it. No bass on the flip for me that day. I need more practice. |

Jim let me catch one when he taught me how to flip on Candlewood Lake:
I gotta warn you that if you boat the lunker, Jim's competitive juices start flowing and he'll start back-boating you or go so fast that you can't keep up! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

bump up your weight and peg it. since flipping and pitching heavy cover requires shorter "casts" increasing your vertical height on the cast will help the bait punch through the mat of vegetation |

Find the spots where most guys would wimp out because they might lose lures. Spots like that may lose lures but they win tournaments. |
