Went to Compounce, I got bored at home, so I went to check on a hood I painted for a fellow worker,, and of course I had a fishing rod in the truck so I went to the lake,, wind still had some good gusts,, but the fish didnt mind,, I threw a spinnerbait, 3/4oz,,, stayed for 2 hours caught enough fish to destroy 3 spinnerbaits,, I would say I caught 30 bass,, nothing huge maybe a couple pushing 4lbs,, but mostly 2 and 3 lbers,, I will have to go and get some more dollar spinnerbaits,, its not worth throwing anything good there,,Its amazing how many there are,, I can reel it in and just as I take it out of the water It gets slammed,, I am going to try and take a video of me laying on the dock and splashing my finger on the side of the dock in the water and having a 2 to 3 lb bass slam my finger,, Ive done it a couple times,, I have a couple of mechanics that didnt believe a bass would eat a frog,,, so I grabbed a few(real ones),, brought them to the weeds,,, threw a frog,, and it went swim, swim, SMASH,, the guys are still in shock and that was a month ago,, anyway all in all a great day,, my thumb is cut up,,

Steven, actually, No, the biggest I have ever gotten there was around 6lbs,, Ive been pounding that place for 6 years,and bdiggy, yes it is private,, but it depends who you know Wink

bdiggy - Jim took me on the ice at Lake Compounce last Winter and showed me how he drop shots through an eight inch hole with a seven foot rod! Rolling Eyes

I'd go for 2-4 lb bass all day long, and 30 in a single trip, that's beautiful! Guess I need to get to know some people! Razz
