Thursday August 18, 2011:
After my wife and I had our first baby ultrasound and she went back to work I decided why not throw a few casts out someplace new. Since I was already in Norwich i looked up in the anglers guide nearby places and found Mohegan Park not too far. Got there about 1130am and stayed till 3pm. Caught 3 good sized Lg Mouths. Prolly ranged 2-4lbers. (Thats good sized for me, prolly PB. Sad I know) Caught them on a River 2 Sea football head jig. Mostly Blue with little black and a Fat albert for a trailer. All fairly close to shore near the play ground side. Didnt get any bites at all from beach to pavillion tho. But for me it was a good day. Not sure how to show pics yet but I'll try this...
