Hey everyone, I'm new to the site. My name's Paul, and I'm from Willington. I generally fish the Willimantic River, Eagleville Lake, Mansfield Hollow, and the Mt. Hope River. I also do some saltwater fishing, usually at the Fort Trumbull pier or the DEP Marine HQ Pier. Still trying for my first Striper. I'm always looking for new spots on the shore as I am not so familiar with that area of the state.

I've got a canoe, but I'm thinking about picking up a fishing Kayak in the near future. Can anyone can recommend a brand/model?

Welcome Bigpoppa.

I just got my first keeper striper this year so i know how you feel. I also fish the DEP HQ.

There are a lot of guys on this site with kayaks. Peco has a lot of knowledge on them.

Rob

Hey, Paul! How much would you be willing to spend on a fishing kayak? Very Happy

PECo,

You have like 24 of them right?

You should start selling kayaks as a business.

I will take your Pro Angler....

Over the last few years, I've bought seven and still have five. My garage is a mess.

Welcome to the site Paul. Look forward to your posts. Good lukc on that first striper.

PEC0 - any of them painted in Camo? I'm thinking about picking up one I could use for waterfowl and get some fishing time on it during the off season. Must be light and stable. any suggestions?
