It's in the eastford/ashford area.I know its not Halls or Crystal, but I'm not really sure of its name. My father and I have named it "Secret Pond" since he has declared that neither of us can reveal its location to anyone. He says we have to blind fold whoever we bring (LOL)! He's a funny old guy and he's gettn to be kinda crazy in his old age.I just know how to get to it.
There are so many rumored ponds with monster bass in that area. I plan on fishing many of them and finding several real good ones. Once I have a handful of proven spots out there, I would love to share a few with you guys since you have been so helpful to me. I just wanna respect my father's wishes on this one. (except for the blind fold thing) _________________ Am I obsessed, or is it normal to play with my lures every night? |

Nice job, and I have to simply mention that it is nice to see a hog, a happy guy holding it, and a post with a good weight quote. Congratulations on the PB and the 5-pound mark. That is a five pounder. |

Thanks again guys!
I'm really startn to miss spring bass fishn. Its so much harder to come by a good lunker bite in mid summer. I'm still hitn 3+'s every couple trips, which I am still very happy with, but I just miss seeing that rod bend and hearing that drag pull out the way it does when you know you have a beast on.
anyway, I'll have to try one of those spitn image lures that spitn.image is talking about in his posts. Thanks for the tip brotha!
PS: I have been having lots of luck with ragetail frogs in heavy lily pads lately... even when the bite seems dead in all other spots. any time of day I seem to be able to send it in the pads and get some action out of it. I guess it gets reaction strikes even when they dont wanna eat.
Try it out when nothing else is workn _________________ Am I obsessed, or is it normal to play with my lures every night? |
