went out over the weekend and hit the water for a couple hours and into the night till 11pm.... it was awesome fishing after 9pm.... they were slammin top water.
here is one i got on top water chug bug... best one of the night.... scale battery was dead... i am thinkin he was alittle over 5lbs.... some of my buddies are saying probably 6lbs.... best one i have had in a long time. What a great night!

Nice! Thats a beauty! I love hittn a good lunker at night.
Next time you get a good one and don't have a working scale, a length and girth measurement can help make a pretty close estimate. length x length x girth divided by 12. I have checked it in comparison to a digital scale several times and have always gotten within 2-3 ounces of the actual weight.
