I went to Fairfield Ct to fish the reef(?). I fished the incoming and the slack. I was not ready for this place. First time there. I caught nothing and saw the same from all that were there. I am going back in the am, with waders and metal \m/.
Tons of small baitfish in the water and a couple rises but nothing hitting. Nice spot and I am hitting it hard!!!! _________________ I Love My Fishing And NASCAR. But When There Is ICE On The Pond Bet Your Britches I Will Be There.

Sweet spot isn't it?I didnt even think of telling you to bring waders. I usually go in shorts.
I was there about an 2hrs b4 low tide today. There were small blues going nuts on the westport side of the reef in really close to the jetty. I caught 1 then decided to leave it to the kids. I waded all the way out to the end of the reef hoping to run into a striper.. Saw 1 guy pull a 25" bass out there but that was it. I got nothing and by the time i got back toward shore the blues were gone along with the tide...
And 1 kid got a keeper fluke on a kastmaster |
