Hi all,

new guy here...

Does anyone know of some good bass fishing locations that a person with limited mobility can fish from .i.e. Wheelchair but can walk 30 or so yards with cains but still needs to fish from the chair?

maybe some place away from a boat launch

Thanks

The Angler's Guide lists the wheelchair accessible lakes and ponds:

Thanks... we went to LakeSaltonstall, but we have to go back tomorrow for an RWA permit. Really nice.

so then we went over to Clarks pond for a few and we caught some large mouth bass (Senko wacky rig), some bluegills, nice day!

thanks everyone for the info.

what king of fishing do you mostly do? for instance bass? trout? anything that will bite your line? I modify vehicles for people with disabilities for a living. Ive often thought about rigging my bass boat to safely carry a wheelchair or two to get guys out on the water that dont have boats. Yes we would be bass fishing.

Very nice... I like LM bass fishing. Thank you guys all for the info.

Here's one from Lake Saltonstall from about 3 hours or so ago...

This was 2 of 2 caught today... the other was a little smaller. We did a nice job on the hook removal and put him back to play another day.

I used to fish everyday in the summer with my dad, until I got my drivers license then I stopped going with him - typical teen... too busy. All I can do is fish with my kids as much as I can.
