Let's start with where you have already tried. Are you still working rivers or have you gone down towards the mouth or tried in the sound yet.
P.S. The question for the thread name does not match authors name lol. _________________ Better things happen at night! |

Best you can do is talk to some bait shop owners for specific spots... Fish @ night. Find some flats where creeks/rivers run out into the sound... Wade out and throw big plugs and or sand eel imitations tied on a dropper rig. Or if you're a bait fisherman find some fresh bunker and throw some chunks on the bottom of same type areas.
Outgoing tides....
Good luck... |

Do you have access to a boat or shore fishing only? I have a few spots for you either way. Let me know _________________ Better things happen at night! |

Heard of a few keeper bass off bonds dock recently if thats where you are thinking of going. Try and fish off the left end of the dock and cast straight up river toward the boat at the end of the dock. Bring heavy sinkers that water rips. |

No boat. I know all about that current there. I went there last Saturday ans was astonished at the current and really wasnt prepared for it but a nice gentleman there gave me a fish finder 2 oz. Thats where I came up with my user name. I went out and bought a few sizes after that day. I was thinking of going there or a little farther up stream at The Dock shopping center Pier. I really need to get a decent fish under my belt before I get discouraged!!! |
