The future beach trophy 126 is still on secret sale at Dicks. You may just have to bring this add. It's listed in the "Game On" catalog for $349.99 until July 4.

That's a bargin that DD found at Dick's - Go for it Exclamation

Best I could find for you (at the price you want to pay) is the "Perception Sport Sound Angler Kayak" sold by Gander Mountain.

You'd need a bigger kayak than a Trophy 126, Pete. You'd be welcome to paddle mine around if you'd like to see for yourself. I prefer sit inside kayaks to sit on top kayaks. I think that you'd have to look for at least a 12 footer, but a 14 footer would probably be better. $350 is gonna be tough.

Thanks everyone for looking. Phil is it hard to get in an out of a inside cockpit style kayak? I just need something lighter than 100 pounds so I can carry it with one hand. I have an old canoe that I use but the thing is all fiberglass and well over 100 pounds I can barely carry it resting on my shoulders. Dirtydawg that's really tempting Laughing

The ease with which you can get into or out of a sit inside kayak depends on the size of the cockpit opening. You'd probably be able to get into my Hurricane Santee 116 Sport easier than you could get into my Future Beach Trophy 126, because its cockpit opening is much larger. However, since the Trophy 126 has a double keel, it sits flat on the ground, which lets you ride in it like a sled. I was able to come ashore in it today in super shallow water. I took my paddle apart and pushed myself totally up onto the shore with both halves of it. I can't do that in the Santee 116 Sport, because it has a single keel and tips over when grounded. Your best bet is a hybrid type kayak like a Wilderness Systems Commander or a Native Ultimate, but they're extremely pricey. I took a look through Craigslist and there aren't any bargains in there right now.
