So I was taken to a "hotspot" in colchester that's a decent walk on the airline trails that will bring you to this small pond that leads into salmon river. Much to my surprise my father brought home a tiger trout the day before he had shown me the place. It was such a gorgeous trout! Long behold the next day 2 more tiger trout were caught from us! Not only that, but a cutthroat as well! Now weeks after that, I got a picture message today from my dad's buddy who bagged a monster 18 in rainbow there! |

What, no photos?
Thanks for the report. I failed in my attempt to get a walleye, yesterday. Maybe I should try to catch a trout, instead. I want dinner! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Ahh that seems to be the reason then. 23 inches is huge! My dad has a brown trout stuffed in the basement that is 27 in from amos lake caught in about 2002? |

My mom has a cousin that lives on Beach. I never fished there though, just paddled. It's pretty big. |

Nice fish tigers are wild looking fish, as to you saying something about a cutthroat there are none in CT stocked or otherwise unless it was somehow put in by someone. |
