Fished Bantam from 5:30 am till 7:45 pm and did alright between my buddy and I we landed about 35 bass mostly a mix of smallies and largemouths and a ton of rock bass. My best 5 would go for 13.8 pounds with 3 largemouths and 2 smallmouths. My buddy faired well with a 5 fish bag of about 8-9 pounds. All fish except the small smallie below were caught on the DROP SHOT!

Here's some drop shot bass:

This smallie was the only bass caught near shore it was on a bed in 74 degree water Shocked

All day on Bantam. Nice!

Hey, where'd you park? Is the formerly state-run launch still open to non-residents?

If anyone wants to launch their bass boat at Northbay and would like someone else to pay the $10, I'd love to fish from the back of your boat! Very Happy
