| alright guys, dying to know if anyones hittin or seein any blue crabs around? I haven't even attempted to try yet but it'd be cool to know if their out there. |

| I've seen a few out while spear fishing but your about 2 months early, early august you'll do a little better and even late august is great |

When they do come in, a great place is xxxxxxxxxxxxx marina in xxxxxxxx on rt.zzz Plenty of keepers. Best time is at night during dead low. After we come in from fishing the place is loaded with them. We usually play around for like an hour with them and we can catch 20+ with just a net and a little left over chunk bait. When I start seeing them flood in I will post.

| geez night fisher, way to blow up peoples crabbing spots lol let people go and adventure and find their own spots. People spend years searching and trying out late night spots and doing their homework, then people just come along and jump right in peoples spots with no effort at all............ |

Hey cthonkerheaven
I mean no disrespect by this, buuuttttttttttt, you can not tell me every spot you fish, hunt, or camp you found on your own. Places like this forum are set up to help others have FUN. Sometimes people appreciate the tip or help. If I saw 15 people a night there then I would have left it alone. No, I have seen one guy at night in 2 years. Sorry if you are really big into blue crabbing, did not mean to blow up a possible spot of yours. Just wanted him to enjoy a good summer night of crabbing.
Again, no disrespect intended, just helping someone out and speaking my mind.

| no disrespect but heres the issue and I"M SURE everyone would agree on it............. you want to help someone....... then send them a private message...... you post that up here, and people who aren't even part of this website can see these forums and that spot can be quickly taken over from people site surfing........ come on .... i know you gotta be smarter then that. You want to help epople, send them a private message only them and you can view, not people who aren't even members |

For me it was how you approached the subject. Like you said, you could have pm me and said that, versus trying to burn me. I would have just taken it down and sent him a pm. Well issue over and I will be sure not to openly share possible personal spots openly anymore.

This site is turning into a contradiction. When I first joined, I did not want to tell the location of the large pike I was catching because it was a small body of water and not well known for pike. Everybody and their brother jumped down my throat about this not being a lake X site and not to post if I wasn't going to give the location.
Now guys are getting crap about giving up good spots when they are trying to help somebody. Can you people make up your mind? WTF!

i kinda agree with CtHonker shoot him a pm! Its one thing if ur reporting about how u did and all but to just throw it out there for god knows who to abuse...
i bet that now when u do go to that spot u will see more than u did in the past if u wanna help somebody tell the the favorable conditions and let them find their own personal spot!!!
I can tell u that i like fishing solo so i will tell u a certan body of water but im not gonna post my particular spot where i got them ...
Just to prove my point not gonna point fingers but i blame certain people on here and other site for spot burning the houssy i had been fishin that spot for a few years and i would be there solo not see a soul all night ...I LOVED IT!!!
now everybody and there grandma are there now and i belive these people will one day realise that u just cant do it after they show up at "their" personal spot and it is now invaded by all sorts of hooligans drunks and fools lookin for trouble
so let me ask u this why would u shoot urself in the foot like that???
