ninigret pond in charlestown rhode island. fished last two evenings and that is some insane action. anyone else fish the hatch?

I witnessed the hatch here in ffld. Seagulls diving pulling up worms, bass breaking, blues chasing sand eels, herring eating surface plankton. WAYYYY too much bait in the water to compete with. Mostly just watched.

might have to check this place out in the kayak, what is the cost of a RI fishing license and can I get it online?

@ nick, were you using flies? How well did you do? You seem to have left a lot out of your post.

using different soft plastics that matched the hatch. berkley gulp sand eel baits, bass asassins, and 7" berkley red shad worms that i cut down to about 4 or 5 inches. and 10lb test. lighter line got me more hookups. Two nights i landed 14 bass 6 were keepers to 34 inches. and worked baits real slow to mimick the real worms. And the hits were vicious
