Coventry 5/20
skunked, rainstorm sent me home
Holbrooke pond 5/21
one pickerel on a wacky rigged dinger.
I lost a nice crappie at the boat on the same rig
I used a spro frog on the pads, lots of vicious strikes no hook ups, gotta get used to using the frog. I think the pickerel are really taking over after the hard winter. Ive never caught this amount of pickerel before. Saw a monster one sliding through the grass by the dam.
I pair of fisherman said they caught about 20 of em.
Tons of bluegills in the shallows.
Lower Bolton 5/22
One channel cat on a yum wacky dinger, about a 1.5 lbs.
then the wind sent me in. |

Hi Phil!
Yeap ! I agree with you.
To much snow this past winter and now to much rain this spring.
Al Gore is to blame !

I have never ever caught a catfish using plastic only live bait, were you bouncing it off the bottom? _________________ "Come after Me, and i will make you to become fishers of men"

yeah, bouncing on the bottom, though it think its more of fishing oddity then a successful way to catch cats, I had one hit a crankbait on the surface a few years back, and bullhead on a dropshot rig last year |

I caught a bullhead on a shallow diving crank last year. I couldn't believe it. |
