My buddy and I went out to hanover for the first time today from 2pm-6pm.
We had a pretty good day. Went out in the row boat with the trolling motor and started working the banks across from the launch. water temp 60, depth 6'

we quickly hit a 2-12 and a 2-0 LMB at a laydown, and knew right away we would be revisiting this pond quite a bit. he hit them both on brown yama. senkos (wacky) I was working a red and black spinner with a red willow blade with no luck. I also tried purple and green colors with wacky senkos and still nothing. Meanwhile he hit a couple more small bass and bites on brown.

We hit a shallow grass bed in the middle of a 3' shallow flat. I finally threw brown and on my 3rd and 4th casts hit a 2-0 and then a 2-9 LMB. I guess it was a bedding male followed by the larger female.

We continued exploring grass beds, isolated cover, and laydowns but the bite seemed to shut down for the day.

Finally I hit a small perch after throwing a brown 3" craw on a texas rig w/ a 1/8 0z bullet sinker. That was the last boated fish of the trip. Couple more bites here and there but thats all.

I would post the pics, but from what I remember, I could never get it to work.

I stopped there this morning despite the rain. Fish were jumping, but I couldn't land anything. I tried senkos and a dinger.

Sounds like a fun day on the water.
