Hit the campground pond on saturday from 7-1. We had cloudy and windy conditions all day, perfect in my opinion. I started out tossing the big stuff looking for a pig, but that didn't happen. Then I picked up the jig and proceeded to kill em. I got around 15 bass in the last three hours of the trip, with the best five going 11.5lbs.
My big fish of the day.
There was this old guy fishing there with the jig too. I didn't find this out until he had us take a picture of the 6lb bass he caught on it. He also got a 5.25lb on the jig aswell. One of these days I'm gonna be at the right place at the right time. _________________ Catch and release only.
A 4lb bass is not going to grow to 8lbs on your wall.
