I'm thinking about going up to Mt. Tom sometime in the near future. Anybody been up there this year yet?I live in Danbury and go up there 2 or three times a year when I get sick of Candlewood, Squantz, Kenosia and Ball Pond.
I usually get skunked but it's so nice up there! If anyone has tips on how and where to fish Mt. Tom lemme know please. I bring a row boat and try to hit all areas on it. I especially want to get one of the stocked Salmon!

Have you been to Sanford's Pond? You probably won't be able to get a rowboat in there but you won't get skunked either. _________________ Kira

Never tried Sanford's Pond. Where is that? You'd be surprised where I can get my row boat into! _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

I just "google mapped" Sanford's Pond and yes I have been there once. Didn't bring the boat. Didn't catch anything either. Have you been there? Is there anything in it? I live not even a mile from it! _________________ Oh man... you got Onzo'd! |

I wrote a report from when I went on Easter but didn't resize the pics so the page takes forever to load. That place is clearly underfished. You can probably get a boat in there if you really want to haul it down the train tracks but I don't think its necessary. Waders might be a good idea though. _________________ Kira
