Fished the Farmington today in Burlington...absolute chaos. Caught over 40 fish between 1:30 and 6. Obviously a recent stocking because they just never stopped hitting gold spinners. I was throwing all colors....red, black, yellow, silver, and hits never stopped coming. Most were between 12 and 16 inches but I did catch and release a massive brook trout. Didn't measure or weigh it because I wanted to let it go but I did get a picture. I'm estimating that its over 3 pounds. Sadly, some idiot will probably catch and keep it tomorrow. That was on a gold spinner with a red and yellow skirt. Today was a real experience....not gonna happen every day and definitely not on spinning gear. Just being in the right spot at the right time, making the right adjustments.

| trophy brook trout for the dep program is 2 pound/17 inches....definitely would have counted if i had a picture of it being measured. oh well. |

| im guessing it had to be stocked, otherwise it probably wouldnt have hit a spinner like that |
