I didn't see any, so I'm not really sure. I targeted smallies right after we launched. I threw a greenish brown jig at the piers of the train trestle bridge for a while until I lost the jig on a snag. It was the only jig that I had on me, so I gave up on looking for them. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

It really doesn't matter to me if there's "normal" bass here in crazy numbers...this just isn't my scene. There are just sooooo many nicer places I'd rather go that are closer to home than Derby. _________________ Kira

I've never fished there before and I have a club tournament down there later this year. I'm curious to know what the population is like. I've never really heard of anyone catching numbers there. Thanks _________________

I agree with you Kira, I went down there this past Sat and fished near the tracks, and almost killed myself on that rock bank. needless to say I lost my slugo, and I parked so darn far away it wasn't worth me going back to the car to get another one, so I just left , and don't think i'll be returning again. Took me an hour to get there. |

Yup, an hour for me too, and yeah...those rocks absolutely suck. I will consider Derby if I ever need to dispose of a body though. _________________ Kira
