There are demarcation lines for all of the tidal rivers in CT. I know for the CT river it is the Rt 95 bridge. Not sure of the others, but they are in the Anglers Guide. As long as you are upstream of these lines, only a freshwater license is needed. _________________ Go big or go home! |

Thames river is 95 bridge im pretty sure. ct river is the train bridge by dep and the housy is 95 bridge...anything below those you need license and above is fresh water. shits only 10 bucks less than the ticket... if you didnt get it last year and didnt redeem your credit use it for it... |

Totally agree. It's unreal how many law enforcement officials don't know the full extent of the law. And they are the ones enforcing it! _________________ Go big or go home! |

Went out there yesterday from like 2pm till 5 and got skinned :-/ .. I purchased sandwirms but conditions did not allow me to use them.. A fellow fisher man I met the saw me struggling and insisted that I used one of his pencil bombers which was the same thing he was using and needless to say same results .. Yet guys all around me caught some nice sizes.. Oh well there's always today lol |
