im going to chime in here as i believe pecos statemant about guys in "Big bass boats" cover more water and move through spots quicker and you may get three casts at a tree".....................................................to be abit unture.
sure some guys fish this way but not all. You can get hooked up with a guy that will fish two spots ALL DAY. Be prepared for whatever may happen. Bottom line is you arent the captain when on someone elses boat. Since this is your first use it as a learning experience. dont go with high hopes of killing the bass. Its early in the season, opening day taboot. Have fun and enjoy the day and experience.

also, never step on the seats to get onto the back casting deck, you can rip them.

Hoppy,

Very useful info.
I didnt expect to be fishing too fast this weekend, with the bite most likely being slow due to how the weather has been, And anticipate to be fishing a few spots but moderately slow.
What I've been telling myself all wekk is that this is a learning experience and everything should come easy, Sounds mostly like common sense. Very Happy

Thanks again

Also, fish what you know, dont try any new techniques that may be tricky, fish how you know to catch fish....
