Hi Austin!
Look on e-bay or Craig's list.
Usually some good buys -> But as they say "Buyer Beware "

mercury 4hp forsale he wants 200 but will probably take 100. May need a fuel pump or a carb cleaning. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Engine weight is a restriciton to me since my 12 ft portabote is only rated to hold a 54 pound engine. i do not really have a problem with going 5 or 10 lbs over but a 9.9 is too heavy. If there was a 55 lb 9.9 that would be a different story, but then money would become a factor... and everyone has a money issue right now _________________ I'd Rather be fishin' :ifishing |

Hi Austin!
You may want to stay at or well under 8hp. as there are a number of Ct. waters that have restrictions for hp. (Mostly 8hp. is max)
