I was reading the thread on this forum about the Housatonic and the striper fishing being good there, sadly I live pretty far away, does anyone know if the Striper fishing is good in the CT river around this time and what are some good places to land them in numbers _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

Yup you cant even tie your boat onto the docks either theyre really strict about enforcing it to, too bad it really is a great spot _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

ct river will pick up in april through the end of May. I have had luck from mouth all the way up to enfield. Go to your local tackle shop and get a map of the river and ask them to give you some suggestions. Once the action picks up, you start seeing posts. You can catch stripers all year round in the river, you just have to find them:) get there before sunrise or last light for the best action. I find they shut off when the sun is out but that isn't to say you can't catch them during the day.
The thames can be awesome as sea dog mentioned. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.
