Spring Pond is the pond at Fisher Meadows in Avon, off of Route 10 and Old Farms Road.

Just was thinking... never had an issue with a whistle on a yak or canoe till bout 4 years ago... DEP said they changed the law making small crafts like that. I knew they had it for bigger boats. i wouldnt mind carryin flare gun on my yak since i do fish the Q-bridge at night lmfao... The stuff i see i never would of thought i would see fishing.. They gamble sell drugs and fish... same time... Interesting people... Cant wait till i start fishing there again at night.. They put that windmill up last year and it kinda makes weird sounds to fish to.... first for me..

Hey Peco,
On huckleberry hill rd in avon theres a pond on the right coming from Collinsville (where i live) do you know the name of that pond? Are you allowed to fish it? It looks like a decent fishing hole, and its extemly close to me since i live in Collinsville.

That's Countryside Park. And, yes, you can fish there. I posted a ton of reports about ice fishing there this year. It used to be posted as an under 16/65 and over pond, but there never was an ordinance or regulation to that effect. The Town of Avon's Recreation and Park Department finally took the erroneous sign down last year. Now they just have to remove "No ice fishing" from the sign at Spring Pond.
