Guys, just a heads up for anyone looking or if you know of someone looking for a 20+foot bass boat. I will be selling my boat this spring. My baby is a 2005 Skeeter ZX225 single console bass boat all decked out for tournament fishing, black with red/white trim. Always garaged and cleaned after every use and in excellent condition. It has a Yamaha V-Max 225 HPDI on a jackplate in the back and a Minn-Kota Pro 101 trolling motor on the front. Hot foot throttle and 4 battery 36 volt system and installed keel guard. The trailer has a fold away tongue. Book value of the boat is around $20,000 so would like to get close to that or best offer. In the process of pulling out of garage and cleaning so pictures will be coming. If anyone is interested in looking at the boat you can PM me here or I am located in Newington and can be reached at (860) 878-6905 to schedule a viewing. Leave message if no answer and I will get back to you. This is your chance to own a big boy at the price of a 17 footer!

Thanks, Jim

Don't let the age fool you,..this boat has seen very little use the last few years and Skeeter Jim takes better care of his stuff than anyone else that I know,...you will not find a boat in better condition than this one! It's gonna be a super deal for someone!! Wink

In a way ....yes Phil. I'm figuring I will also be doing more salt with Mark (Just4fun) in my Hobie than ever before even though I will still keep my little 12 footer with a 6HP Merc just in case. Ctbassnut, yes I will send you and anyone else interested photos once I take them. Kinda hard to get the motivation to pull the boat out when it is cold or raining all the time. I will get the # of hours on the motor info from Reynolds when I take it down to them. Thanks Mark and Ron on the boat kudos!!

Will do!! Right now she is in the Reynolds shop getting her annual service so she will be ready to go for the new owner! When done I will get a detail report on the condition of the boat, trailer, motor and the number of hours so the buyer knows she is a great condition! I would not want to buy a used boat unless I knew extactly what condition she is in inside and out so I'm hoping this service papers will alleviate any fears of buying this boat. Pics to come soon once the damn snow stops!!!
