Tossed a jig today in some open water. Didnt catch anything but tryed for a couple hours. I was fishing 5 maybe six feet of water. I had fun.

Keep jiggin Metalfish. You will catch fish at Middle Bolton this time of year if you stay with it. By the way, how much of the lake is open?

I got out there today for a little while. No fish, a little bit more ice has melted. Still not enough open to put a boat in though. I'll be there with the yak next weekend if the wind cooperates.

Yep, I got one from cabelas. It's basicly a thin stadium seat that is really soft. It isn't perfect, but it's a major improvement over the one that is already in the kayak.
