Tossed a jig today in some open water. Didnt catch anything but tryed for a couple hours. I was fishing 5 maybe six feet of water. I had fun.

Keep jiggin Metalfish. You will catch fish at Middle Bolton this time of year if you stay with it. By the way, how much of the lake is open? Question Exclamation Question

I got out there today for a little while. No fish, a little bit more ice has melted. Still not enough open to put a boat in though. I'll be there with the yak next weekend if the wind cooperates.

Hey, steven1smith! Have you found a new seat that works well in your yak? I think that Fishface (aka Tim) is still looking for one. He has the same yak.

Yep, I got one from cabelas. It's basicly a thin stadium seat that is really soft. It isn't perfect, but it's a major improvement over the one that is already in the kayak.
