Anyone going out for trout this weekend, I'm looking to go to a new place one of the days this weekend. Preferably east of the CT river. |

You guys should try Crystal lake in Ellington. It's fairly small and is one of the best trout lakes in CT. It holds over a large portion of the stocked trout and also gets broodstock salmon. Check regs. for slot lengths, though. _________________ Go big or go home! |

And lots of 'Skunks' too.....at least for me the past couple of seasons.
...also watch out for bubblers and bad ice near docks.... _________________ -Woof |

Hi ictilt!
Try Cedar Lake in Chester -> Stocked and usually some nice holdovers!

I've caught decent bass at both Cedar and Crystal. However, this info doesn't help you at all since you're looking for trout. _________________ Kira

It's kind of upsetting that those "rednecks" have a much better motor than mine. _________________ Kira
