well we went to Bantam today and was expecting to hit a fat cow pike! But i guess they had other plans we had a wide spread of tip ups and a variety of bait from goldies suckers and live pike shiners...all in all a good day out..but results were Asian with a slime dart aka pickerel one and only flag of they day and a few sunnies on the jig stick ..and i caught a yeller perch and a few gills..also had a local firefighter out with us and we put him on to his first ice fishing experience and his first bluegill through about 2ft of ice...
sure am glad i bought a new power auger this year!!!
anybody been gettin any decent size pike in shallow water at bantam ??we fished from 3 to about 11 feet of water |

Parking is the issue...walking to the middle area of Bantam from the north or south is just too far. I recommend the west side. _________________ Kira
