| Just wondering if anyone has had any luck fishing Bantam recently, and also I was curious about the ice conditions out there. I haven't been to Bantam yet this year, but I'm hoping to go this weekend and try for some pike. |

I have the same plan and the same questions. I haven't been there either this year. Wondering if the same thing happened there that did at Beseck. All the snow and slush had frozen solid. Tough drilling holes with a hand auger, but easy walking and dry.

Hello guys
I've been there for the last 4 weekends with some luck,caught 12 pike none keepers off Folly point.The ice must be at least 18-20".I suspect that with the warm weather you should get ready for slush.Good luck!!! |

yes it is.just look for north shore rd. ,bantam,and at the end of the lake you will see the parking.the earlier you get there the better it is for you cause there are a lot of people fishing that area.folly point is a 10-15 mins walk from there.i also suggest to look up the lakes topo map so you have an idea of where and what are you fishing for.good luck!!! |
