I went out on the slush today with phil. I used the snowshoes and I must say they were a huge help. I didn't have to slog through anything and it kept my feet completely dry. And phil was there too which was good. We tried out a place right next to Phils house....a small trout pond called country park in Avon. Only landed once perch but we got lots of nibbles after 5 when it got dark so we'll be going back there again for sure. |

I went out for only a couple of hours with Jon at the pond around the corner from my house in Avon. It was a wet slog, but the parking lot was plowed. Jon jigged up a perch. I got a few good nibbles and had my bait stolen. The pond is posted under 16 or 65 and over, but there aren't any ordinances or regulations to support the restriction. I called the Director of the town's Department of Recreation and Park, and he conceded that it's unenforceable. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Hit a local pnd yesterday with a friend of mine. We jigged up enough large sunnies and crappie for him to have a fish fry for dinner. The fish were in 17-20 fow. They came on either a pimple or jigging rap. _________________ The TACKLE HUT - American Made products
