| It's put on by the Northwest Ct Rod & Gun. Shotgun start at 8 am from Ohara's Landing, $25 entry fee, door prize of a Vexilar ice-ducer with raffle prizes after weigh in. Last years winners were LB @ 5.68 lbs ($930), second place LB @4.73 ($465) and third was CP @ 4.12lbs ($155). Last year I brought in the only weighable Trout @ just under 4lbs, hence no money for me. I had to call DEP to confirm it was on this year, as it still hasn't made the Tourney list. Of all ice tourneys I attend, this is a great bunch of people on the most amazing lake in Ct. Yes, I am partial to it because everything grows enormous there, especially the Browns. |
