I am wondering if anyone could tell me if I need to worry about the amount of snow we just got as far as safe ice. could the extra weight of the snow be a big factor? I know its not going to be easy getting around in it! Read that fishkill article from SeaDog1. Thanks for the info SD. I really hope that doesn`t happen but the conditions are right! Thanks for any help! |

Hi hookt!
YEAH!
BE REAL REAL CAREFUL
With this much snow on top -> You can never tell what has happened below it or what the snow is hiding:!:
As a reminder -> THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS SAFE ICE -> EVER
Be SMART - Stay SAFE

you are absolutly right SD! As much as we want to venture out and drill some holes it is necessary to be extra cautious. This is not a good time of the year to go swimming!!!! |
