Hi All!
Well with the 2 blizzards we have now experienced there is a very possible winter fishkill that can happen because of the heavy ice and snow cover over our shallow lakes and ponds here in Ct.

Not something I would like to see happen -> and not much we can do to prevent it

Hi All!
Have put in a call to the Ct. DEP fisheries biologist concerning possible winter fishkill and if they are/will be taking O2 level samples in particular waters.
Will post info as soon as I recevie it!
As informed -> expectation is that fishing will slow down considerably
