Not a bad day on Tyler. We caught 10 perch, 1 bullhead and to many to count pickerels. We got out there about 7am and fished till noon. The wind however was brutal. I'd post some pics but I'm new to this site and cant figure out how to attach pics. |

Tipups, jigging or both? What kind of lures or bait were you using? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Mostly tip ups with mid size shiners. My buddy was jigging with meal worms and caught a few yellow perch. I was going to jig but decided not to and keep my hands warm. The wind was brutal on the hands. Also had to constantly clean out the holes because the wind was covering them up with snow. |

We had similarly crappy conditions. The bullhead must have been a surprise! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Yeah it was cool to catch 1 through the ice. I know in the warmer months Tyler is really good for bullhead. As we were packing up on Sunday 2 guys were heading out and 1 of the guys was telling me he caught a bullhead at Tyler a week ago. We were really hoping for some trout but no luck. But there's allways next time. |
