I have an Evinrude 48 HP on my Sea Nymph which dosn't quite work for trolling. My Bow Mounted trolling motor will work but I would really rather use the motor. I have toyed with the idea of putting a kicker as I have a 5.5 evinrude fisher,a that might fit the bill but that is option I am leaving as last resort. I have thought about using a trolling plate such as "The Happy Troller"
Has anyone had experience using this or similiar item. Any feedback would be helpful! |

| Are you having trouble getting the boat slow enough in that 1-2 mph zone? Why not try a drift sock. toss it over the opposite side you run your DR or diver on and that should slow you down substantially. |
