. I have never heard of this water or fished it. So I am up for the challenge. LETS HIT IT. How do I get there? I will meet at 8:30am!!

Hey, Ian! Nod Brook WMA is off of Route 10, right on the Avon/Simsbury town line. The entrance to the park is inside the entrance to the Tower Business Park in Weatogue (aka Simsbury), which is 1/4 mile north of the Connecticut Light and Power building.

| mostly perch, sunnies, largemouth, some big pickerel (PECo caught one today-22 inches), crappies, rock bass |

Fallfish, golden shiners & stickfish too. And freshwater sharks.

I think the only Freshwater shark out there is Kira.

Hey, Ian, what happened to you on Saturday? I didn't make it to the ponds at Nod Brook either, but I have an excuse. The alternator on my car fried and my battery ran out of juice near the entrance to the park:
jonnyfly00 (aka Jon aka Shelly) and his girl fished the upper (i.e., south) pond, and caught dozens of sunnies, several yellow perch and a couple of 15 inch chain pickerel.

I sent a pm to jonnyfly00, saying I would be late call. I never got a call so I never made my way up there. It also gave me a change to run to Cabelas to pick up a underwater camera.
