I was wondering if anyone had any idea of where to fish for pike other than the coves on the river and bantam lake and mansfield hollow? im getting tired of going to the same old places. Also has anyone heard if hopeville pond is good for pike through the ice? |

You can fish for pike through the ice in Lake Lillinonah. I've had success in the brookfield and bridgewater area of the lake. I haven't tried other areas. I've found the pike mostly in very shallow water and coves. Gook luck! |

Thanks for the ideas guys. My buddy and i were at winchester last week and we got a big largemouth and a bunch of big pickerel, but no pike. Maybe Pachaug will be our next trip! |

Be carefull if you go to Hopeville. That place is more like a slow river than a lake. Not sure how the water flow would affect the ice, but I would guess it's not very safe. _________________ Go big or go home! |

Woodridge lake in Goshen is real good for pike and if your lucky you can catch walleye and muskies. Unfortunately its private. I had a buddy who use to live there so he would take me. Then he moved. Start knocking on doors and make some friends! Place has some awesome fishing in it, such a variety of fish |
