stevin, that thing definitely catches fish and they usually are hogs. I need to start fishing int again in the lakes. I stopped carrying it in my fresh water tackle box because it was so big. The stripers I caught with it were all between 30-40". It was cool watching the bait get clobbered. Good luck with it.
Nickp if you see this thread, please post some pictures of the hogs you caught with the slammer.
