Kira - I'll call you when I finally decide to hit the ice. Have you loaded up your sled with gear? Do you have an extra jigging rod and reel that I could use? BTW, I came up with a name for your sled. Either "Le Sled" or "Les Led", get it?

Yeah, I have an extra jigging rod you can use. The (empty) box that sits on top of my sled is about a quarter inch taller than my tonneau cover, so getting it out of there is an issue. I definitely need more room for extra clothes, cooler, chair, etc. The box has nice storage and an auger holder. The sled is great except I can't use it without the box since it has no sides. I put all of my tipups, jigging rods, scoop, etc. in a backpack, which means I'll need to carry my auger/bait bucket until I resolve the sled issue.

Whats good ya'll first of all i went out today by myself and wish i stored kira's # in phone cause would of called her. For the pan fish i got 3 crappies and well over dozen sunnies. Only got bass outta one hole. The ice sucked... All the snow dropped the ice below the water so i was walking on 3" of water plus snow. Was kinda sketchy about walking out there at first cause it was cracking while i had all my gear on me. Never mind the cracked i was getting while i was drilling holes. Still not using gas yet just so i can hear whats going on under me... Any way i got 3 keepers and 1 none keeper out of this one hole which was close to the water fall.. i also lost 3 fish out of the same hole.

As for the sled issue. look into this Kira from cabelas online only 34.99 and only online... Cabelas utility sled. think the # is 751745.. Imma check to see if i can buy it and pick it up in East Hartford. 50"long x 26 3/4 width x 10"d

Hey AF, it's such a small pond, the crappies are competing with each other for food source, hence no big ones. Never saw any good sized bass out of there but looks like your doing Ok on the bass.

Tight lines,
JS

Hey, Billy, what's that black rectangular thing behind the anal fin on the bass in the last photo? Was it tagged?
