What a great day of ice fishing. The perch are great. The trout are sweet. We got there at 9 am ish. Picked a nice spot close to shore and rocked the perch and got a couple rainbow trout. Both trout came on a jig, and 3/4 of the perch came on jigs. A few were on tipups. All fish were released to fight another day. The drive home was slowwwwwww. ZERO Visibility on the way home. O well, we all made it home safe and I will never forget this trip. Now here are the pics and vid. Enjoy

Now THAT was a plate-worthy perch! I love the crunching sound as you walked across the ice. Thanks, Ian! _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter!

I'm going to buy my Mass license after the 1st. I've never eaten a live smelt before. 2011's going to be the year. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter!
