I live reallyt close to Norwich harbor and I heard its really good striper fishing. I want to know what you guys think would be a really productive bait there and how to use it, and if theyd be biting in winter around this time? |

1/2 oz jig head/grub tail. Bounce bottom. Color varies. _________________ I Love My Fishing And NASCAR. But When There Is ICE On The Pond Bet Your Britches I Will Be There.

Hi Max!
Go down to the town dock and see what the fishermen are using.
Other than that -> Good old Cast-Master with bucktail would be my go to.

Maybe try some white sluggos, or even a storm or tsunami swimbait with a slow retrieve. _________________ Personal Best freswater fish.

Maximillion, I have some specialty red baits that work anytime and anywhere, nothing beats these baits, guaranteed to work, on first cast P.S. I cannot ship these baits |

try flyfishing with thin streamer type baits.
ive caught some inshore stripers in the dead of winter on the fly.
but that was on long island. i dont know the conditions youre workin with.
it was the only thing i could get em to bite with the temp < 40 degrees. |
