i havent seen any other "available for hire" topics, so i thought id give it a shot.
i just moved to Newington, CT from Long Island. Im looking for a job.
Im 26 years old, able bodied (can lift, bend, climb, etc.). I have reliable transportation to and from work every day.
My background is in residential painting, i was a painter and foreman in a company on Long Island for 5 years. I can do many other maintenance type jobs as well.
If anyone knows of an opening in a service trade type job, please let me know.
Also, if you would just like to hire me to work in your home or office, please contact me for an estimate.
Thank You
RyanBass aka Ryan The Painter

Ron - Village Pizza in Wethersfield is worth the drive, but if you like thin, floppy, foldable pizza then you may as well go to Chuck E. Cheese. It's entirely possible that the NY-style places hate me for requesting the Chicago cut...is that considered offensive? _________________ Kira

Ron, have you tried Bella pizza on Fenn rd? It's not bad. You can even get a tan, a pedicure, then buy a pack of smokes, some handcuffs and a porno all with one stop shopping in the same plaza
You better watch out though because I'm sure after Flippy sees this post he'll be a regular over there. |

Hi All!
Best thin crust Pizza (Just LIGHTLY CRISPY - NOT FLOPPY) I've ever ate is at a place called "Pa Raffer's", in New Bedford, Mass., and with lots of cheese + Pepperoni, or crumbled Chorico or Linquisa Portugese pepper sausage.
Match that with a "Buzzards Bay brand Beer or Ale" absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced (It's a favorite home town institution)
Been going there since I was a teenager (I'm 62 now) and still make a special stop there when I'm in the area!
Still haven't found as good a Pizza as that here in CT.
Guess it all depends on what you grew up on

TK, you really like village? I am not a fan of Greek pizza I guess. I go to catchers and Joe Garlics. LOL, how did this turn into a pizza discuss?
Ryan, I may call you for a quote. My daughter is moving out of the nursery and into another room. So I have to paint the ceiling, walls, trim and radiator. I don't mind painting but i don't have much free time. If I get stuck, i'll give you a shout. I am going to try to make some time but doubt it will happen. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Yup, I like that the topping doesn't slide off and the bottom isn't sitting in a pool of grease. Nice solid pizza. _________________ Kira
