I went back to the good old faithful spot, the thompson dam. It was freezing but with all the layers i had on, i managed to stay out on the water for 2.5 hours. It was really calm when i first got there and on my 4 to 5 cast with the 1/4oz ball jig/3in chigger craw i puled in a nice fat 19in largemouth,i didn't have the scale but I'd say he was about 4lb. Within about an hour after i was out on the water, it got pretty windy and was steady the rest of the time out and i didn't get another bite on various other baits.

Nice fish! Way to bundle up and get out on the water while you still can. Was there something wrong with that pectoral fin or does it just look funny in the photo?

PHIS, I didn't notes anything wrong with the fin, but it does look funny in the picture.

he was sitting in 14ft right after a sharp drop from a 6ft flat.
