Hi All!
Went to Mount Tom today -> Got there 2:30 PM.
Fished from the beach with 2 rods -> One with live Goldie under float and the other casting with 3" silver spoon.
2 other younger fellows fishing off the beach also.
One hooked into a 12 lb. 31" Brown -> Strong fish -> Took him over 15 minutes to bring to net. Beautiful fat healthy fish.
Second fellow hooked a 6 lb. Atlantic Salmon -> Also a fat healthy fish.
We all saw additional fish rolling the surface out in the middle and out of casting range from the beach!
Me -> Got the shunk, but was a nice day (No wind) to be out with Mac.
Left Mount Tom at 4:30.
