I would like to inform anyone who reads this I have a habit to confuse people and talk in riddles...

Last year was the 1st year I really went out I went out in the past maybe a few times 1 year and caught a small trout out of cwood.

Last year I caught a bunch of decent perch, some pickerel, and a few LMB.
- Last season I bought some cheap tip ups (they work ok)
- I picked up 2 different HT rods/reels
I have only used 1 which I end breaking some how
- I use a kids sled (one I bought in the past) because it does the job
- a bucket, hooks, I have some swedish pimples a kastmater and one of those air plane lures
Just bought some cleats I found last season I didnt use any

I could probably use some different size lures and when I have some spare cash DEFINITELY an auger

QUESTIONS
- I found some krocodile lures, are they any good
- What else would you suggest me getting

Anny and all suggestions and comments are appreciated

Donations appreciated Razz

A good general lure is the hali. Blue, alittle red and white tipped with a spike is great.

I seen them in kits sometimes like generic kits, I always thought they were just some cheap lure that was thrown in a box to sell a rod/real for more

Hi phs!

I'll have plenty to post soon -> Have to get some serious maritime consulting out of the way 1st.

As for drop-shoting a minnow -> I use a boomerang drop-shot rig -> basicly a very light bunge or heavy elastic band between the weight and line which allows a live or dead minnow to really dance with a lot of action.
Used it last season with great success Exclamation

Well a Hali is a very good spoon jig -> But imported and expensive at $4.99 or better each.
The main problem with Hali's are the weak chains and hooks. (They break Exclamation )

Found something MUCH BETTER (came out last year) Exclamation , with more action, American made (Michigan), and only $2.99 to $3.39 each.
They're called Kodiak Perpetual Motion Ice Jigs.
They Glow, come in many colors and many are Holographic.
Also come in 2 sizes -> 30mm and 40mm.
And have quality chains and hooks.

Another of my go to jigs is the Smakin Jack (These are Killers Exclamation )
Comes in 2 sizes!

Similar are the Bohemian spoons.
Only 1 size I know of!

Also the good old Swedish pimple in the Crushed Ice version.
Various sizes!

Last and a favorite is JR's Tackle Flasher Spoon.
In 2 sizes - 1/8 and 1/4 ounce and in various colors.
What makes this lure unique is the 2 little wing blades and has a lot of action.

Tipped with your choice of bait and all will catch fish Exclamation
Find the depth the fish are at then try aggresive or subtle jigging to determin what the fish will strike.
