Happy Be-Lated Veteran's Day. I actually had a customer at work thank me for my service, what a nice surprise that was! Thanks to all who serve and have served!

Your not the only one that has a "BIRD-FARM" in the family! Laughing

This is mine:
CVS-38 USS Shangrila (aka. Shitty Shang)
1 Med and 1 WestPac

Pic is from 1970 and I was aboard with VA-172, A4 SkyHawk (Scooter) squadron!

That was a round the world voyage that year.

All together I've got 3 B-farms -> USS Lexington -> USS Shangrila -> and USS Intrepid now a war memorial in NY City.

Me 68-72 -> just made PO-5 before I got out.
Me -> AME -> "Spring Loaded Tweet" Rolling Eyes

Then to Mass Maritime Academy for 4 years under GI Bill.
Now I'm a MUSTANGER -> And DAM PROUD of it Exclamation

Only Mustanger's who were previously enlisted wear a Good Conduct Medal with their fruit salad. Very Happy

If I had to do it all over again -> Wouldn't change a thing Exclamation

On 39 ships over 35 years (3 1/2 times around the world) and in the process of writing a book -> (Thinking the title should be " True Sea Stories - No S_ _ t!)
