Nice hawg!! Congrats on the new PB. Did you take any length and/or girth measurements? It would be easier to judge that way. Either way it's a beauty.

Yeah, live bait, the big boat guys like Tralli can't go where we can go. Very Happy

Dawg had no luck in the middle or upper sections of the cove. I think that he caught only a couple of small largemouth bass up there. I know that a lot of guys throw jigs, but it can be pretty weedy at times.

BTW, my guesstimate of your lunker's size is at least 21 inches and 4-1/2 pounds. Those river largies are bruisers. I need to get me one of those before it gets too cold for me to fish. And, yes, TurtleKiss, it can get too cold for an older, ahem, more mature guy like me. I was shivering for a couple of hours before I was able to get into the sun yesterday.

Yeah I caught 1 or 2 small ones in the middle part of Keeney but nothing beyond that in upper. When I was there the water level was pretty low at upper.

Should have worn a few more layers, Phil!

live bait - Congrats on the lovely bass (I'm guessing 4.2 lbs.) and for not getting murdered, carjacked, kidnapped, or mugged at Keeney. Laughing
